Butorowy Wierch (approx. 1.5–2 km)
- A popular attraction in Kościelisko,
to which leads a gentle trail from Salamandry Street. The cable car to Butorowy Wierch (approx. 1.5 km from Kierpcówka) offers beautiful views of the Tatras, Zakopane and the surrounding valleys. At the top there are walking and cycling trails, and in winter - the possibility of gentle skiing. (240 m long T-bar lift).
At the mouth of the Kościeliska Valley, popular hiking trails begin. The valley itself is one of the largest in the Polish Tatras and offers easy walking trails to the shelter on Hala Ornak (approx. 5.6 km, 1.5 hours) and access to caves such as Jaskinia Mroźna or Mylna.
Infrastructure
Within a radius of 2 km there are three grocery stores, equipment rentals (e.g. bicycles, ski stations with winter equipment rentals) and restaurants serving highland cuisine.
Within a radius of 3 km there is a primary school, a Talent Factory (offering classes for children), a clinic and religious sites (including the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima).
Przyroda
From the area of Kierpcówka 40 there are views of Giewont, Czerwone Wierchy, Kasprowy Wierch and the Western Tatras. Many apartments in the area emphasize silence, fresh air
and proximity to nature.
Nearby (approx. 700 m) there are bicycle routes and Nordic walking paths, especially along the trails to Gubałówka and towards the Kościeliska Valley.
Other facilities
At a distance of about 1 km there is a bus stop "Czajki", which provides a connection with Zakopane (2.7 km from Kierpcówka). It takes a few minutes to get to the center of Zakopane,
and walking takes about 30–40 minutes.
In the area there are centres organising sleigh rides, bonfires with a view of Giewont and integration events.
You can also take advantage of spa and wellness offers (e.g. thermal pools in the nearby Termy Chochołowskie, approx. 8 km, and within a radius of 2 km there are smaller facilities with saunas).
